Mineral

Mineral is developed in collaboration with Skogstad & Wærnes. The design is inspired by the processing of natural materials, resulting in an intricate yet refined pattern with a textured surface. The seemingly irregular composition references natural elements and introduces a distinct sense of stillness. A solid coloured frame further defines the throw with geometric balance and brings a certain symmetry to an otherwise organic design.

In the design process, Skogstad & Wærnes highlighted the inherent qualities of wool, exploring the contrast between the organic and the digital where the colour palette connetcs the design to our Mill and its surroundings, the old mining town of Røros.
